Veoh is a popular online video hosting website, with millions of video clips viewable in Div-X format. Combining video hosting with social networking, it's possible to build a friends list that you can share your own videos with as well as channels which can be viewed by friends and others. Setting up your own channel is very easy, and while Veoh does have paid features, you can create a channel for free.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Sign in to your Veoh account. If you do not have a Veoh account yet, you can set one up for free by clicking the "Sign Up" link at the top of the page. Follow the registration instructions until your account has been created, then sign in to the account so that you can continue setting up your Veoh channel (see Resources below).

  2. Step 2

Move your mouse over the "Publish" button near the top of the screen. This will cause a menu to drop down from it. Select the "My Channels" option from the menu, which will then take you to the page where you can make a new channel as well as view and edit any channels that you have created.

  3. Step 3

Click the "Create a New Channel" button on the "My Channels" page. A new field will open up where you will be asked to name the channel and create a permanent link to your channel as well as to enter a description of it for people to read. You can also set options such as automatically adding any videos that you upload and making the channel only accessible through direct link instead of by being listed in the Veoh browse and search functions.

  4. Step 4

Set the categories that your channel will appear in by clicking the "Set Categories" button, and answer the questions on the right side of the field so that it can be flagged appropriately in case your videos contain violence, explicit language or nudity.

  5. Step 5

Click the "Create Channel" button. You channel will be created on the Veoh site, and you can begin adding videos to it.
