Things You'll Need:
- Person’s personal item
- Material
- Scissors
- Needle and thread
- Stuffing material
- Pins

Step 1
Gather your special ingredient. In order for a voodoo doll to work against a person, you need to obtain a personal item from that individual. A lock of the person’s hair, fingernail clipping or sliver of a very personal item, like the person's favorite handkerchief, will work. Check the person’s hairbrush, wastebasket or floor for samples. A used bandage with a bit of blood is also an option.

Step 2
Hook up the doll’s head. Cut two round pieces of material and sew at the edges, leaving a small hole on one end. Flip the sewn packet inside out and stuff with pillow stuffing, straw or sawdust. Sew the hole shut. Use a paint pen or glue on small beads or adornments for the eyes, nose and mouth. Add hair if you want.
-
Step 3
Fashion the body. Cut two body-shaped pieces of material and sew those at the edges, leaving an opening in the neck area. Flip the material inside out, stuffing with the material of your choice. Before closing the neck, stuff your secret ingredient inside the body of the doll. Stitch the neck area closed. Sew the head to the neck.
-
Step 4
Perform a consecration ceremony. Finalize the voodoo powers of your doll by lighting a black candle and chanting a few words to invoke its magic. Say something using the person’s name, such as: “This doll is in John Doe’s likeness. This doll will bring John Doe pleasure or pain.”
-
Step 5
Work the voodoo magic. Use pins, clamps, heavy objects and anything else you desire to produce the pain. If you want to go with pleasure, you can give the doll a massage or lay rose petals on areas to be healed.
