Things You'll Need:
- Computer
- Word processor or desktop publishing program
- Printer
- Card stock or colored paper
- Scissors
-
Step 1
Create a new document in Microsoft Word, or your favorite word processor or desktop publishing program.
-
Step 2
Use the "Page Setup" command in the File menu to choose landscape orientation and set the margins to 1/2 inch if you want to fit more than one bingo card on a sheet of paper.
-
Step 3
Use the "Insert Table" command from the Table menu to make a table with five columns and six rows (or five rows and one header). If you are using a desktop publishing program, you may prefer to draw a grid using the line tools.
-
Step 4
Choose a font that’s easy to read, yet goes with the Valentine’s theme. Type the letters “BINGO” at the top of the table, or substitute a Valentine-themed five-letter word, such as HEART or LOVED.
-
Step 5
Type “Free” in the center square, or use a special symbol for the free space (optional).
-
Step 6
Insert hearts and other Valentine-themed clip art in the squares so that each space is unique, or use the same heart for each square and type a unique number on top of it. Or, use clip art to decorate the borders of the bingo card and use regular numbers in each space.
-
Step 7
Save the bingo card file, then use the "Save As" command to create more bingo cards--each with a different combination of Valentine symbols or numbers.
-
Step 8
Print the Valentine’s bingo cards on card stock or colored paper, then cut each sheet in half to separate the two cards.
-
Step 9
Create a grid with all the images, or all the letter and number combinations. Print out the sheet and cut apart the images or numbers to use as calling cards.
