Everyone makes mistakes when knitting a project and you just dropped a stitch. Luckily, fixing the mistake in a knit or purl stitch is easy and no one will be able to tell you ever had a problem.

      Pick up the stitch with your right-hand needle. The stitch should be next to the other stitches you just knitted and it should be right next to the strand of yarn connected to the ball of yarn.

      Take your left-hand needle and insert it into the stitch.

      Then take your right needle and pull the strand of yarn through the stitch to make the new stitch.

      Drop the new stitch from the left needle, and transfer your new stitch onto your left needle to start knitting again.

      Find online videos to watch. Sometimes it is easier to watch a professional correct the dropped stitch than look at photos.       For a more aggressive solution, take apart the last row by pulling on the yarn attached to the ball. Make sure to catch the stitches on your needle, so you don't lose any other stitches. Then just re-stitch that row and continue on in your project.
