Step 1
Take advantage of the here and now. Write down a list of every person you will be buying a gift for this christmas.

Next to every person's name write the amount you are most willing to pay for that person's gift.

Then write down what gift you are wanting to buy for them or if you aren't yet sure, write down some possibilities.

Start shopping now! I don't mean hit the store hard, but now that you have your list look for sales. You might be surprised to find that one of the items on your list of gifts is on sale.

Keep an eye on eBay! You can purchase brand new expensive gifts for much less than cost buy watching out for items on eBay.

Step 6
After you have purchased a gift for someone, mark them off the list and write down the actual amount you spent on their gift. By the time christmas rolls around you will be almost close to being done with your shopping or maybe even completely finished! Tally up the total amount you were willing to spend and the actual amount you did spend. You'll be surpirsed on how much you saved and how much less stress you had during the actual season.
