Make Creamy Fruit Dip

Creamy fruit dip is the perfect addition to any fruit tray. It's quick and easy too, which makes it a staple recipe in my house.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Mixing bowl
  • Kitchen Aid mixer or electric mixer
  • 1 package of cream cheese (8 oz), softened
  • 1 jar (7 oz) of marshmallow crème
  • 1 Tablespoon milk
  1. Step 1

Combine the marshmallow creme, cream cheese, and milk. Mix with an electric mixer or a Kitchen Aid mixer on medium speed. The ingredients can be combined by hand, but the dip may appear lumpy.

  2. Step 2

Mix the ingredients for your creamy fruit dip until they are well blended. The mixture should appear smooth and creamy without being too runny. To check the consistency of the dip, try some on a piece of fruit. If the dip drips off, it's too runny. Try adding a bit more cream cheese.

  3. Step 3

Serve your fresh creamy fruit dip with various fresh fruits displayed nicely on a fruit tray.

  4. Step 4

The creamy fruit dip is white and can sometimes appear rather blah in a bowl. To spruce it up, use strawberry slices, halved grapes, or orange peel curls as a garnish in the middle of the dip (see the photograph).

Tips & Warnings
  • This recipe yields roughly 1½ cups of dip.
  • Be prepared to give your friends, family, or guests the recipe. It's delicious!
  • Creamy fruit dip can be served with various fresh fruits, so choose fruits that are in season for the best display. Rarely are there any leftovers of the fruit dip or fruit.
  • This fruit dip recipe tastes great coupled with grapes, oranges, cantaloupe, apples, and strawberries, to name a few.
