I am going to show you how you can easily clean your microwave without harsh chemicals. It doesn't matter how much cooked on mess you have, with this method it will come clean.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • thick coffee mug
  • water
  • sponge with scrubby side
  1. Step 1

Fill you coffee mug with water leaving about an inch from the brim. Use the hottest water your tap will put out.

  2. Step 2

Put the mug into your dirty microwave. Turn the oven on for about three minutes to start.

  3. Step 3

When the timer goes off open the microwave and using your sponge wipe an area with a lot of build up, if it comes off easily go ahead and remove the mug and wipe you oven out, if not start the microwave again for another two minutes.

  4. Step 4

When the timer goes off this time repeat the last step. What you are looking for here is the amount of steam the is created in the microwave which loosens cooked on food.

Tips & Warnings
  • be careful removing the mug as it may be hot.
