If you've ever tried to organize your thoughts and goals and found that digital planners and online calendars didn't help, try writing down your goals on index cards. The cards help you break your life into categories and separate goals into manageable portions.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Break your life into categories. For example, I broke my goals into the following areas: spiritual, family, career/professional, and hobbies/personal. Write each heading on a separate card.

  2. Step 2

Use one card for each category and list all the things that you are currently doing in those areas. For example, if you are reading your Bible every day or memorizing a new verse a month, write those things on a card to put under the spiritual heading.

  3. Step 3

On another card, write the things that you want to do in each category(using a separate card for each area) but aren't currently doing.

  4. Step 4

Finally, write one step toward each of those goals you listed in step 3 on a separate card. Each day try to accomplish one of those goal steps within each category.
