Things You'll Need:
- Determination
-
Step 1
ConfidenceAlways:
1. Focus your attention on your strengths and see yourself at your best.
2. Be your self and affirm your worth.
3. Stop comparing yourself to others because the other person might have something which you don’t have and vice versa.
4. Firmly believe in what you say and do.
5. Talk slowly, clearly, firmly and politely.
6. Listen to others and appreciate their views.
7. Accept your mistakes and apologise if you are wrong.
8. Make sure you have reasonable knowledge on a particular subject if you want to talk to the person on that subject.
9. Learn to use appropriate key words while expressing your thoughts.
10. Shed your fear as it is not going to improve the situation in any way.
11. Carry out duties according to your consciousness.
12. Be straightforward in coming to your point. -
Step 2
ConfidenceNever:
1. Compromise if you feel that you are right and have done the right thing.
2. Pretend that you know something, which you don’t.
3. Show your ignorance.
4. Expect sympathy from others, as it will be taken as a sign of weakness.
5. Be afraid to express your views.
6. React immediately to things—think twice before you speak or decide. -
Step 3
ConfidenceRemember:
1. No one is expected to know everything in life and there is nothing wrong in learning new things that one does not know even if it is learning from one’s juniors.
2. Practice breathing exercise. It will help you calm down.
3. Practice speaking in front of the mirror. It will help you conduct yourself in a better and mature manner.
4. When others say things about you that you know are wrong, challenge them to prove that they are wrong.
5. You are confident only to the degree you think you are confident. “Success does not always come to stronger or faster man, but it often goes to the man who thinks he can!”
6. But beware of over-confidence. Over-confidence can be as bad as the lack of confidence. So take it cool… -
Step 4
Quotations:
1. Nobody can make you feel inferior without your consent - Eleanor Roosevelt
2. It took me a long time not to judge myself through someone else's eyes - Sally Field
3. It's not who you are that holds you back, it's who you think you're not - Author Unknown
4. We have to learn to be our own best friends because we fall too easily into the trap of being our own worst enemies - Roderick Thorp
5. Whether you think you can or think you can't - you are right - Henry Ford
6. If you hear a voice within you say "you cannot paint," then by all means paint, and that voice will be silenced - Vincent Van Gogh
7. Make the most of yourself, for that is all there is of you - Ralph Waldo Emerson
8. Nobody can make you feel inferior without your consent - Eleanor Roosevelt
9. It took me a long time not to judge myself through someone else's eyes - Sally Field
10. Don't let people drive you crazy when you know it's in walking distance - Author Unknown
