With prices going up, Americans losing their homes to the mortgage lending crises and with Christmas coming, it's time to go shopping for super inexpensive gifts. This article by Kate Johns tells you how to get the right gift for under ten dollars.

Things You'll Need:

  • The only things you'll need to reach your goal of buying friends and family members inexpensive gifts are about ten dollars for each gift, a sense of adventure, and long arms to rwch past other shoppe
  1. Step 1

    Start your Christmas shopping as early as possible--like right after Christmas. The day after Christmas get to the stores early and buy the super inexpensive items now before they are all gone. You can get great deals for every member of your family, friends, etc. You have to be fast though because what looks great will go fast--so don't procrastinate. Make sure you buy items that are returnable and keep your receipt. To make certain you don't buy just anything, make a list and stick to it. You could even buy each family member one gift for X-mas day and get more the day after when prices are lower!

  2. Step 2

    Find out when area schools, and churches have holiday bazaars or even craft shows going on. Many times the Moms, parents and even the kids have created some terrific holiday items for you to buy. Call the school to see when you can shop, because many times a school just won't let strangers walk in. But you can get really inexpensive items for under ten dollars for almost everyone on your list.

  3. Step 3

    Peruse dollar stores to find items for family members, friends, teachers, and your child's classroom. You can get kid's stocking stuffer items that are downright cheap! Buy crayons, small toys, puzzles, games, holiday books for just a dollar. Buy candles and candles holders for your child's teacher. You can even get a present for every child in your kids classroom.

  • Shop as early as possible, and keep all of your receipts in a safe place. Stick to your list and try to stay under ten dollars. Make it a game if you have to keep your overall budget low.
