Admit it,weddings can be pricey, but it is possible to find a dress especially when you're on a budget.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Patience
  • Determination
  • Calculator
  • $150(or less)
  1. Step 1

Everything in life requires patience.Set aside some time to actually meditate about your dress, how and where you plan on looking for it,and how you expect it to fit into your budget. For some people, money isn't a concern, but probably for a vast majority of us, it is.If you need to,do a time-line.

  2. Step 2

Make up your mind that you have a certain amount of money set aside for your dress, and that's what you're going to spend.Don't let anyone persuade you to think any differently.Typically, we allow ourselves to be swayed by others.

  3. Step 3

Don't forget that handy dandy calculator. It's amazing just how this small, but simple gadget, can make a few things easier. If you're a tedious person, calculate the price, tax, and shipping if applicable.

  4. Step 4

Go outside the norm.Does your dress REALLY have to be white? Summer dresses, with a a few adjustments, can be turned into great wedding dresses. They also tend to be cheaper towards the end of summer because some stores are trying to make room for their Fall clothing lines.

  5. Step 5

Check the web. Some dresses are being sold at discount prices.Ask relatives or friends.

  6. Step 6

Set aside no more than $150(or less)in the beginning. You're less likely to spend a lot of money if you already know how much you can spare.

Tips & Warnings
  • Do not procrastinate.Consider if you want to spend more on the dress or the reception,or both. This is your day!
  • Always check all resources(the Better Business Bureau, etc.)before buying anything online.
