Things You'll Need:
- 4 9" paper plates
- Glue
- Scissors
- Crayons, markers, Easter grass, etc.
- Wooden spring-type clothespins (optional but helpful)
-
Step 1
Hold 2 paper plates together, puffy sides out. Cut a jagged line across tops as shown in photo to form egg.
-
Step 2
Hold remaining 2 paper plates together puffy sides out and cut handles as shown in photo. Your handles will look like rainbows.
-
Step 3
Spread glue along the inside rim of one handle. Glue handles together puffy sides out.
-
Step 4
Spread glue at top corners of one egg half as shown. Glue handles to egg.
-
Step 5
Spread glue along the rim only of one egg half. Glue egg halves together puffy sides out. I use clothespins to hold my baskets together until they dry.
-
Step 6
Let dry. Decorate with crayons, markers, Easter grass, etc.
