Things You'll Need:
- small overnight bag
- a car
- buckwheat pillow
- toothbrush
- toothpase
- razor
- soap
- hairbrush
-
Step 1
Wear wrinkle-resistant, stain-resistant, comfortable clothing. Some clothing lines specifically designed for travel are hand washable, hang to dry and are ready to wear again the next morning.
-
Step 2
In a small, overnight bag, pack the following essentials: toothbrush, toothpaste, face soap, deodorant, razor, cosmetics, comb and a change of underwear. Also, include a day's supply of any medicines and vitamins you take.
-
Step 3
Consider ditching your pajamas. If you're only in the hotel long enough to get a quick nap, do you really need to sleep in your silk, Victoria's Secret full-length pajamas or would your underwear or a t-shirt suffice? If so, just pack an extra t-shirt.
-
Step 4
Place your overnight bag in the car last in a location that is easily accessible. If you're travelling with a bunch of people, make sure everyone's overnight bag is in the same location so you don't have to search for someone's bag at one o'clock in the morning and cut into your valuable shut-eye time!
-
Step 5
If there's anything you can't sleep without, i.e. your buckwheat pillow, make sure it's as easily accessible as your bag.
