Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Internet or the phone number for the board of elections office, where you are registered.
  1. Step 1

Go to this website, http://www.fvap.gov/overseas-citizens/index.html and begin following the process.

  2. Step 2

Go to request an absentee ballot and then click on your state of residency.

  3. Step 3

Fill out the absentee ballot request. Find out the proper county, the one you are registered to vote and mail in the request for an absentee ballot.

  4. Step 4

Wait for the ballot to arrive in the mail box and do your American duty; vote.

Tips & Warnings

on 9/9/2008 Very helpful article. You might want to add a little section on how to do this when you're in the military. ;)
