Step 1
This is usually the hardest step for people who want to win their ex back, but it is a necessity. You must end all contact with your ex. Have you been texting or emailing them? Sometimes a bit more often than you would like to admit? It is time for this to stop. If you have already been through this part and are not speaking with your ex, skip down to the next step.
You need to tell your ex that you understand that breaking up was the right thing to do. You now can see that is best for both of you, in fact, you are relieved that your ex ended it. Make this short and sweet, there is no need to get into a bid discussion. You want this to be convincing. -
Step 2
In this step you are going to work on yourself. I don't need to get into detail because there are a million and one self help books out there, but I would like you to boost your self confidence. It is human nature for us to actually repel people if we do not like ourselves. If we do not like us, how can anyone else? Does this make sense?

Step 3
I would like you to write a note to your ex. This note will be short and simply say that you apologize. You will post this letter in the mail after an appropriate time has passed. This may be one week later or one month later or one year later. I do not know the answer because I do not know you or your ex. By doing this, it allows you to hold the balance of power. No longer are you calling them ten times a day, but they are calling to speak to you!!!
