Things You'll Need:
- 2 cups of dried prunes
- 3/4 cup boiling water
- 3 egg whites
- 5 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon salt

Step 1
Put the prunes in the boiling water and cook, covered, until they are tender.
Discard any water remaining. Remove the pits. Press the prunes through a sieve and cool. -
Step 2
Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Butter a baking dish. -
Step 3
Beat egg whites until stiff. Add the sugar gradually, continuing to beat.
Stir in the lemon juice, salt, and prune pulp.
Gently FOLD the egg whites into the prune mixture. -
Step 4
Pour the mixture, gently, into the buttered pan.
Bake for approximately 30 minutes.
Cool. Serve and enjoy!
