Ahtlete's Foot is a very common fungal infection that is easily contracted. Here's some very effective ways to treat and prevent the spread of athlete's foot.

  1. Step 1

    Athlete's foot is a very common fungal infection that afflicts men as well as women. Many people spend lot's of money on over the counter remedy' s that just don't work. One of the most effective ways to treat athlete's foot is actually yeast infection cream. After a bath or shower. Dry feet completely. Pay close attention to the area between the toes. Next rub a good yeast infection cream such as Monistat all over the feet. Continue to do this every day, once in the morning and once in the evening until the infection is gone.

  2. Step 2

    Next prevent re-infection. Clean shower surfaces carefully.

  3. Step 3

    Once the infection is completely gone, prevent future occurrences. Tea tree oil or rubbing alcohol is a powerful antiseptic. Use a cotton ball to apply to the feet. Some also use antiperspirant on their feet. Sprinkle some baking soda or corn starch on the insides of shoes.

Tips & Warnings
  • If none of these methods work, see your doctor. In some cases the infection will require a prescription antibiotic.
  • Do not use tea tree oil or rubbing alcohol on broken skin, it will burn!
