Children's bedroom decorating can be fun. If your little cow poke would like a western room, keep reading. Let your imagination run wild and let the ideas below get you started.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • ALL OPTIONAL
  • Cowboy hat
  • horse shoe
  • saddle rack
  • saddle
  • children's bedding and accessories shown
  • paint
  • wood
  • wood burning kit
  1. Step 1

Even if you are a cow hand who has never roped a cow cause you don't know how, you can have a cowboy/ girl's bedroom to say yee - haw over! Try adding a real horse shoe over the door. Remember to keep the "U" facing up for good luck.

  2. Step 2

A simple wood branding kit can make decorating your child’s bedroom fun. Pieces of wood can be branded with shapes, words, or even your child's name to give the room a unique and personal flare. You can make the wood look more weathered by burning the edges and face just slightly.

  3. Step 3

Every cowpoke needs a hat. These come in boy and girl colors and can be used for decorating on a shelf or hat hook made from horse shoes. An old saddle on a saddle rack is cute for a girl or boy’s western room. You could even use coordinating kid’s bedding pieces as a saddle pad to tie your child’s room together.
