Dating someone that you work with in most cases is NOT something I would recommend. If things go wrong between the 2 of you, it could come back to haunt you down the road. You could loose your job & maybe even turn into a sexual harassment case ! ! !
If your the boss NEVER date one of your employees. That is just asking for trouble. Either from the person you are dating or if the other employees find out about it, there will be gossip about how she/he got the job or why they didn't get fired if something gets screwed up at work. God forbid the worker you are dating get a raise in pay or a promotion. Weather they deserve it or not. EVERYONE else in the office will think they got the raise because they are sleeping with the boss ! ! ! -
Step 2
Being with someone you are dating all day & night can be a bit of a strain on a relationship. Although you enjoy being with them, do you want to be with them all the time.
The time apart form each other makes the time you do spend together special. -
Step 3
If you do date a co-worker , Try to keep the 2 worlds totally separate. Don't bring your love affair or arguments into the office & don't bring your work home with you at night.
Sure the most appealing think about dating a co-worker is the thought of GETTING SOME at the office. But if you get caught in most cases you will get fired .... -
Step 4
If you are having trouble with the relationship. Going to work & getting away from that person for 8 hour is a bit of a relief , it gives you time to COOL OFF. But if you work together , It just means you are stuck with them ALL DAY LONG. No one can have a constructive day at work with someone giving you the evil eye all day.

I'm not saying in every case that dating someone you work with is a bad idea.
For the special few it means you have someone that understand what you go through all day at work.
Someone you can go have an enjoyable lunch with.
When everything else at work if going south fast, they can be a source of comfort & reassurance to you.
They are someone you totally trust to give you good advice when you need a second opinion on a work related issue or problem. -
Step 6
The best advise I can give you is to use your head , don't use the office as a dating service. Because no matter how much you try to keep your dating secret it will get out that you are dating. I if you have dated a few co-workers & both relationships have ended bad. The GOSSIP will spread like wild fire around the office & there is nothing worce than a scroned lover to spread half truths & lies about you to get even.
