Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Two pounds of crawfish tails
  • 1 stick of butter
  • Frozen chopped season blend (onion, bellpeppers, celery)
  • All Purpose Flour
  • Chicken broth
  • Chicken bouillion cubes
  • Paprika
  • Large Skillet and Spoon
  1. Step 1

    First, melt butter in a large skillet then add frozen season blend. Now you are ready to add the crawfish tails, allow them to cook for about 5 minutes.

  2. Step 2

    Add flour one tablespoon at a time, approximately half a cup this will be the rue. It is very important to turn the fire down or setting on the stove to low heat while mixing in the flour. You should have a brownish red paste. Readjust setting to medium heat on the stove. Now add chicken broth to desired thickness. Add two chicken bouillon cubes. Stir until they have completely dissolved.

  3. Step 3

    Add one dash of Paprika to the dish while cooking. You can eat it over cooked rice or pasta. It serves 6 to 8 people.

Tips & Warnings
  • For added flavor you can garnish the dish with a tablespoon of chopped green onions.
