1
Address the areas over which you have control. Don't complain about something that you are not willing to change. Begin dieting and exercising if you are overweight. Change your hairstyle, have your nails done or arch your eyebrows. Don't stress about the things you can't change, but focus on enhancements that will make you feel confident and attractive.

2
Walk confidently. Let your hands swing, keep your neck straight and hold your shoulders back. Walk slowly and let your hips sway by putting one foot slightly in front of the other. Walking confidently will make you feel more attractive and be more confident.

Don't compare yourself to others. You don't have to look like a model or an entertainer on TV. Be the best that you can be and learn to love yourself as you are. You will be happier when you don't need to compete with others. Make a list of your attractive qualities, and think about those each time you are tempted to compare yourself with someone else.
-
4
Learn to accept compliments. Say "thank you" instead of coming up with a reason why you don't deserve the compliment. Don't broadcast your insecurities and don't encourage negative feedback by directing the person to your real or imagined flaws.
-
5
Act attractive and confident even if you don't feel that way. The more you do this, the more your feelings will follow your actions. Wear your most attractive clothes every time you leave the house. This includes undergarments. Wearing the right clothes can make a big difference in how you feel.

6
Perfect the art of flirting. Do this even when you don't think you look your best and it will make you feel better. Flirting diverts attention away from yourself and focuses on the other person. When that person responds by flirting back, your confidence level will soar.

7
Avoid negative thoughts about yourself. Every time you think something negative, replace it with a positive thought or action. View pictures that show you at your most attractive. Force yourself to think about things you like about yourself rather than the things you don't like.
