If you own a blog and you would like a lot of traffic to your blog then you need to promote your blog! There are many different ways to drive traffic to your blog.

1. You need to build a lot of back links to your blog to promote your blog, you can build back link to your blog for free or advertise your blog and pay some money.

2. Social networking!
   If you have a social networking profile at Facebook, My space, friendster, etc; You can add your blog URL address on your social networking profile, thus your friends can click the link to go to your blog.

3. Write articles!
   You can write relevant articles to site such as Ehow, Bukisa, Associated content, Hub pages, etc; and add link to your blog to promote your blog for free. Links provided below!

4. Blog networking!
   You can add your blog URL address to many blog networking such as technorati or ping your blog using ping-o-matic every time you add a new post to your blog.

5. Bookmark your site!
   Some people think bookmarking your blog URL address can increase traffic to your blog.

6. Write comments to popular forums or blogs that related to your blog and add back link to your blog! Remember do not spam! You should write a useful comment and not just a back link to your blog or it will be deleted anyway! Or they may block you.
