Things You'll Need:
- Maps and information on the parks Disney vacation planner DVD List of activities and attractions you want to see
-
Step 1
Request a free DVD vacation planner from Disneyworld. You can request these on their website, as well as calling Disney directly. They are available to you at no charge, and contain a lot of useful information on planning a great vacation with them.
-
Step 2
Do some research online. There are tons of websites that show you how to make the most of your Disney World vacation, as well as how to save a few bucks. The more time you put into planning your vacation, the better off you will be.
-
Step 3
Decide what kind of hotel you want to stay in. Staying on Disney property offers a lot, and they have hotels in all price ranges. Most people plan on only using the hotel room for sleeping at night, so it is not worth spending a lot of money on.
-
Step 4
Go online and print out maps of each of the theme parks you plan to visit. Look at the attractions and decide as a family what are some of the best ones for everyone to see. This will give you an idea of when you get to the park, what one you go to first.
-
Step 5
Make a packing list. Create a list of everything you want to bring to Walt Disney World. If you do this well before you leave, you will be sure that you won't forget to bring something important, such as your camera. Most people only go to Disney World once, and you want to make it as memorable as possible.
