You've probably noticed in public places how some children seem to be unruly and disruptive while others seem to be well behaved and disciplined. And maybe you've wondered how the parents with the well-managed children do it. Your children learn by imitating the behavior they see around them. By showing your children a good example of Christ's love and patience, you help make sure that the lifestyle they're imitating is a good one.

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A Christian lifestyle
  • Patience
  1. Step 1

For children to love and be loving, they must have the same in return. Children who are loved usually show the same to other people.

  2. Step 2

Be consistent in your example. Children need boundaries and discipline.

  3. Step 3

Pray with them and for them. If they hear you pray, they will understand how important it is.

  4. Step 4

Read the Bible to them so they will know how God wants them to live.

  5. Step 5

Make sure your life is right with God, so your example will be a good one.

Tips & Warnings
