Things You'll Need:
- 3 large firm red apples, peeled and chopped
- 1/2 cup figs, chopped
- 3 tablespoons sunflower seeds, chopped
- 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon cloves

Step 1
In a heavy saucepan, place all ingredients.
Bring to a very, slow simmer and continue to simmer for 20 minutes. -
Step 2
Stir the mixture occasionally to prevent sticking.
Remove from heat.
Cool. -
Step 3
Store well covered.
Refrigerate if not to be used immediately.
