Want soft, sexy legs?

How to get the most of out shaving, get rid of razor bumps and ingrown hairs, and get the soft and sexy legs you want.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A good-quality razor: a Venus Gillette or Embrace is best
  • Tend Skin Solution
  • Salicylic acid bodywash (usually advertised as acne bodywash)
  1. Step 1

Shave every day! Shaving is exfoliation... and if you do it infrequently, dead skin cells will build up and you'll be more likely to get razor bumps and ingrown hairs. Stubble will grow back faster, as well.

  2. Step 2

Using the salicylic acid body wash (this is an exfoliator as well) as shaving gel, lather up and shave in the opposite direction of hair growth. (Shaving in the direction of the hair growth results in incomplete removal of hair and irritation due to the tendency of going over and over one area of the leg)

  3. Step 3

Shave at the end of a hot shower, when your skin is soft and the pores are open. It reduces the likelihood of nicks and cuts.

  4. Step 4

After shaving, while the legs are still slightly moist, apply moisturizer to seal in moisture. A moisturizer with subtle light reflecting pigments, like Avon Skin So Soft: Soft & Glow Satin Glow Daily Body Moisturizer, will give legs a sexy, subtly shiny appearance.

  5. Step 5

If unsightly or painful razor bumps or ingrown hairs do crop up, use Tend Skin Solution. It takes care of both very rapidly.

Tips & Warnings
  • Don't use a razor formulated for men! Use a razor specifically for women.
