Tips & Warnings
  • When you're going fast, you want to have the gas to the floor. As you're coming off the corner, its a good idea to ease into the throttle to avoid spinning the tires.
  • Turning left involves slowing down. At large tracks, just letting off the gas may slow you enough. You may need to brake slighly and let the car coast before getting back on the gas. At smaller tracks, you'll need to use the brakes. Ideally, you want to use the brakes right before the corner, then let the car coast through the center of the turn.
  • At a restrictor plate track, usually you are full throttle all the way. Any letting off is slight and it usually is to avoid running into the car ahead of you, or when going into corners at Daytona with worn tires
  • If you do not slow down when turning left, you will go right into the wall, unless it is a restrictor plate track, where you're always on the gas
  • if you do not go fast you will lose
  • Don't go too fast while entering the corner and using extra brakes to slow you down. This will wear out your tires and brakes, and your lap times will start dropping off quickly.
