Journal every Memeory

Sitting here missing my grandparents. I lost 3 in two years time. I have memories. But not detailed. I know things, and remember things and parts of stories told over and over again. But there are sometimes, I wish I could remember every story in full color.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • small note book
  • pen or pencil
  • capture memories
  • big and small memories
  • disposable or digital camera adds color to memories
  1. Step 1

Grab your pen or pencil and jot down anything that makes a sweet memory. When you get a little feeling of awe. Those moments are so precious.

  2. Step 2

    Use your resources.
After my grandparents were gone I realized how easy it is, to forget little parts of those stories that you have heard oh so many times. I started writing down little cute things that my children say. There are times when I have thought oh I'll remember that later. I don't and am so mad at myself for not writing it down.
Sometimes, I don't have a note book. But I do have bank envelopes. They work great.

  3. Step 3

Cherish your little notes that you have written. Share those little moments with a sister, a friend from work.

  4. Step 4

If you are so inclined to do so. Make a memory book. If you decided to capture some moments in color with your disposable camera. Make a little memory book with photos. But even if you just get a nice journal book. Write them in there. Be sure to take it with you to the next family gathering. It will be much appreciated.

Tips & Warnings
  • Remember to write down anything that gives you a tickly tummy. Take a picture if you wish. Journal your notes. AND SHARE
  • If you can't remember something sweet remember who you were with. Call them and brain storm together to get the cutest details.
