Step 1
First, realize how important your body is and the goals you have in life. Does your lifestyle, of how you are treating your body meet the end result of the retirement you want to have? How many vacations and states are you planning to visit? Will your body allow you to do that with how you are living life?

Step 2
Simply drinking 8 to 10 8 oz glasses of water each and every day can help your body stay healthier. Help your blood to stay healthier.
-
Step 3
Next, take a simple walk. As you walk be sure to breath fully and enjoy your walk. Your mind set in your health is very important. You want to be calm and relaxed not frustrated and crabby. All these things will help your circulation. Breath and smile and walk yourself to health.

Step 4
When you get home putting your feet up is very important. Use a recliner, lay loosely on the couch. By that I mean do not tuck your feet up close to you. Let your feet hang out loose, but elevated. When you are sitting with a book or by the computer. Same thing applies. Leave you feet hang loose away from you. This allows your blood to flow back to your heart. Your veins are carrying your blood back to your heart. They are flowing with less pressure than the blood that is leaving your heart. So it is very easy to slow the blood. As it sits in the veins longer, it is building up pressure and slightly bulging the veins. This could be one cause of varicose veins. So retrain your brain to keep your feet from snuggling close. Use a lap blanket and tuck that around your feet. If you are reading, use a foot stool or a stack of pillows. If you are at the computer wear slippers or get some device for elevating your feet without tucking them under you. Your body will thank you and in turn stay healthy longer.
