How to Make Lemon Garlic Chicken
An inexpensive and healthy favorite for any season, lemon garlic chicken combines a citrus zest with the full body of garlic, making it one of the tastier main dishes you can prepare. Preparation is simple and can be mastered with one try, regardless of culinary skills. Things You'll Need
- 4 skinless, boneless halved chicken breasts
- 2 minced garlic cloves
- 2 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Pinch, salt and pepper
- 2 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 teaspoon grated lemon peel
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 1 14-inch skillet
- 1 baking sheet
- 1 wooden stirring spoon

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Rinse the chicken breasts under warm water and sprinkle with salt, pepper and paprika.

Melt butter in a skillet at medium heat, then add the chicken.

Fry the chicken for roughly three minutes, or until both sides are lightly browned. Drizzle the chicken with half of the lemon juice and place it on a baking sheet.

Put the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for five minutes. Place the garlic in the skillet and brown for about two minutes while the chicken is baking.

Turn the burner to medium-low. Pour the white wine into the hot pan, add lemon peel and let simmer for two minutes, stirring occasionally with a wooden spoon. Take the skillet off the burner and cover with a lid to capture the steam.

Wait another minute and remove the chicken from the oven. Add the remaining lemon juice to the poultry. Replace the chicken into the oven and bake for five minutes.

Remove the chicken from the oven, let it cool, then lather with the lemon-garlic-wine sauce.
