Many agree that the feet are the most neglected part of the body in terms of giving them proper care. Below are basic steps to keeping your feet healthy, happy, and soft.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

The first step to keeping healthy and clean feet is to cut your toenails as necessary. Clean under them and make sure that every time you bathe, you take a few minutes just to clean your feet, otherwise the dirt will continue to accumulate over time and contribute to bacteria and other unwanted conditions.

  2. Step 2

When showering, use a pumice stone. A pumice stone is made to be rubbed against the rough parts of your feet (the bottom) in order to help shed old skin cells, and reveal new, fresh, and soft skin below. This is essential for having soft feet.

  3. Step 3

Use a lotion made for feet. After showering, you will want to nourish you feet with an intensive lotion that will soften you ankles and toes.

  4. Step 4

For intensive moisture, put socks on for a few hours after moisturizing. This will help instill moisture and keep you feet looking and feeling their best.
