Step 1
You will need to wash your curly hair to be able to style it before you head out the door for your day. Wash your hair with your regular shampoo. You will also need to condition your hair as you usually would. This will help you to get the knots out of your wet curly hair as you style it for your day. Rinse your hair and get out of the shower. Towel dry your curly hair and get ready to style it in no time.
-
Step 2
Apply a dime size amount of defrizzing serum to your wet curly hair. This will keep your curls from becoming frizzy as you style them into place. Work the serum through your curly from the ends to the roots. If your hair is thick and/ or long, you may need to apply more serum to style it.
-
Step 3
Brush out the knots in your curly hair. Use a wide tooth comb and your fingers to get the knots out of your curly hair as you style it for your day. By using these tools, you will prevent your hair from frizzing as the knots are worked out of it. Get all of the knots out of your wet curly hair. It is often best to start at the ends as you try to get the knots out of your curly hair.

Step 4
Flip you head upside down so that your wet curly hair is hanging freely towards the floor. Use a quarter size amount of an alcohol free styling hair. Work the gel between your two hands so that they are evenly coated. Scrunch your hair in small sections with both of your hands. Hold your hands in the tight position for a couple of seconds until it is set. Do this with all of your curly hair. When you are done, flip your head back and you are ready to go with your day. Your curly hair will air dry and look great.

on 9/27/2008 The problem is that washing your hair in the morning and styling it with mousse also takes time, at least for me since my hair is long and thick.
Some people take a shower the night before and don't have time to wash/condition/mousse their hair at 7 am. :(
