How to Make a Natural Healing Lip Balm

Lip balms are a necessity during the winter months, but they can be so very expensive. They can be incredibly expensive if you try to make sure your lip balm is organic. This lip balm is wonderfully soothing and simple to make!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1/2 oz calendula or safflower oil
  • 1/2 T grated beeswax
  • 1 T honey
  • 5 drops vanilla essential oil
  • Sterile glass containers
  1. Step 1

    Place calendula or safflower oil and beeswax in a heat proof glass container and set in a pan of simmering water.

  2. Step 2

    Heat until it melts, stirring often.

  3. Step 3

    Remove from heat and add honey and vanilla.

  4. Step 4

    Pour into sterile glass containers and refrigerate to set.
