Why use canned frosting when real butter cream frosting is so easy to make -- and even more delicious to eat. You'll never go back to canned frosting after this! Check out the tips to make the frosting chocolate.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 cube of butter
  • milk or whipping cream (approximately 1-2 tablespoons)
  • 1 small box of powdered sugar
  • 1-2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
  • blender (hand or mixer)
  1. Step 1

    Cream the butter.

  2. Step 2

    Add vanilla and begin to add powdered sugar and milk or whipped cream alternately.

  3. Step 3

    Keep stirring

Tips & Warnings
  • To make it chocolate frosting add 5-8 tablespoons of cocoa powder.
  • Can be done by hand, but a whole lot easier with a hand blender, or in a mixer if you're making a large quantity.
