Dress for a Back Yard Autumn Party
Dress for a Back Yard Autumn Party

Dressing for an outdoor party can be tricky this time of year. Should you dress warm or not? Read on to find out.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Fall clothing
  • Outdoor party to attend
  1. Step 1

ACTIVE WEAR: When attending an outdoor party in the fall you should wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty. If you play games or are around a fire you clothes could get dirty or smell like smoke, so don't wear anything too nice.

  2. Step 2

WARM OR COLD: Should you dress for warm or cool weather? It will probably be warmer when you get to the party and colder as it gets darker. You should prepare for this by wearing short sleeves and taking a jacket or sweatshirt to layer on later.

  3. Step 3

JEANS: You should wear jeans. Even if it is warmer when you go to the party, it will get cooler and you may not have a place to change. Opt for jeans for a fall outdoor party.

  4. Step 4

SHOES: More than likely, at an outdoor party there will be either dust or mud somewhere. You should wear sneakers or a closed shoe. Do not wear sandals, as you may lose them and your feet will get dirty.
