Want to clean your bathtub, sink, and tile in a cheap, eco and pet friendly way? You might already have what you need:

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A couple large grapefruits, oranges, or lemons.
  • Table salt (abrasive, but doesn't scratch)
  • a nylon scrubbing sponge, (chore boy)
  1. Step 1

Halve your citrus fruit of choice...I would stick with grapefruits, they're largest and you won't require many.

  2. Step 2

Pour the salt on each half of the grapefruit.

  3. Step 3

Begin wiping down your bathtub/sink/tile with the salt covered fruit. Make sure to gently squeeze out the juice while maintaining a very delicate scrubbing motion.

  4. Step 4

Do about a third to a half of your project, then go over the same area with your nylon scrubber. Soap scum and pink rings will be gone in absolutely no time!!

  5. Step 5

Finish acrubbing your bathtub/sink/tile and rinse. This technique works for many things about the house and is completely eco friendly!

Tips & Warnings
  • Don't get Grapefruit Juice in your eye...it hurts.
