Unlike an Ethernet connection (cable) on a wireless connection to send signals can be received by anyone who is close.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

The simplest is to give key to your network wirelessly. While the most common is the key "WEP", is the most vulnerable. Therefore, it is better to use the WAP protocol if available. Any key will increase network security

  2. Step 2

Believes the distance you need and limít. If you do not need to work 100 meters from your router, alcansar reduces to a minimum with which you can work smoothly. So far we avoid intruders.

  3. Step 3

Set up a filter MAC. The IP (Internet Protocol) are well known. This is a number that identifies Internet connections (not computers) and changes every time you connect / disconnect. Instead the MAC address is a physical address of a computer, which is not changed when entering or leaving a network. Likewise we can only authorize our teams to connect.

  4. Step 4

Hides your network. Many routers bring the option to hide your network. This means that will not be in the list of available networks. To connect to it have to manually configure customers.
