How to Make Powdered Sugar

Does the recipe you are making call for powdered sugar, but you don't have any in the kitchen? Here's the easiest way to make your own powdered sugar.

Things You'll Need:

• White granulated sugar
• blender

1. Measure twice the amount of granulated sugar that your recipe calls for powdered sugar. For example, if it says you need 1 cup, measure 2 cups of granulated sugar

2. Place granulated sugar in the blender and blend/puree until sugar is as fine as powder.

3. Stop blender to check if sugar is completely refined, continue blending until desired fineness is achieved. Sugar cubes can also be used to create powdered sugar.
