Things You'll Need:
- sparkling water like Perrier
- time
- will power
-
Step 1
The first day of your diet should start the moment you wake up in the morning. Immediately become aware of your sugar and calorie intake. Most people feel they haven't eaten anything if they've only had coffee that morning. The question is How much sugar did you put in it? Also keep in mind that whatever you eat in the morning can potentially be worked off through the coarse of the day.
-
Step 2
After breakfast but before beginning your days routine perform a small amount of exercise. If you are not a big exerciser or its been a long time since you've last tried it you should start with something easy. Try doing 10 sit-ups and 5 leg lifts on each leg.
-
Step 3
Take a few extra steps during the day. Park a little further away from the store than usual or Do a few squats in front of a chair each time you get up. Keep your mid day snacks down to a minimum. Have something low cal and only eat until the hunger pains recede.
-
Step 4
Drink lots of water through out the day. Consider a mineral, sparkling water like Perrie or Pelligrino. These types of water are often flavored with no calorie additions like lemon or lime and the carbonation gives the feeling of drinking soda. These waters are also mineral fortified and good for you.
-
Step 5
Keep your lunch and especially dinner meals to a bare minimum. As mentioned above, breakfast is the time for a big meal because your daily activities run off of the calories and vitamins you eat then.Your afternoon and evening meals should be very, very sparse and low in calories.
-
Step 6
At the end of your first week increase the number of sit ups and leg lifts you are doing each morning. If you started with 10 go on to 15 and 10 leg lifts per leg. Before you know it you'll be twenty pounds thinner.
