A Peekapoo is a cross between a purebred Pekingese and a purebred Poodle. Two Peekapoos are never mated to create another Peekapoo. Peekapoos are small, loveable dogs that do not shed and are hypoallergenic. But is a Peekapoo the right dog for you?

The Peekapoo does not like to be alone, but wants to be with its master. It will stay on your lap all day and is very affectionate. It's a suspicious dog, so it needs early socialization.

2. Decide if you want a watchdog. The Peekapoo is a good watch dog and will bark to alert you. If you live in an area that is noise restricted, it may not be a good dog for you.

3. Look to see if the dog is hypoallergenic. The Peekapoo is a good dog for people with allergies because it sheds little and has little dander to contend with.

4. If you are looking for a healthy dog, that is small, outgoing, loveable, and a good watchdog, the Peekapoo is a good dog to look at. It is an intelligent dog and is difficult to train, so enroll it in classes early.
