Things You'll Need:
- Chinese Tea Leaves
- Teapot Set
- Tea Cups
- Boil water with specified temperature.

Step 1
Tea in Chinese WordBoil Water.
The best quality of water is to use 'Natural' Water which we say today is 'Spring' Water. In the old days will use water from the Hilltop, middle river and the well. Today, we usually use 'Tap' Water by filter. Then boil the water. -
Step 2
Teapot SetFill the teapot with tea leaves up to one third height of teapot. Pour the boiled water into the teapot up to about 1-2 minutes, and drain the water out immediately leave the tea leaves inside. The purpose of this is to clean the tea leaves before you drink.

Step 3
Pour new boiled water to the teapot with clean leave tea leaves, then wait for about 2-5 minutes, let the taste of tea leaves fuse with boiled water. Different kind of tea leaves have different colors.

Step 4
Slowly, pour tea into serving cups and continuously moving the teapot around over the cups. In Chinese culture, young children usually pour tea to Grandfather or Grandmother first, which to show politeness, respectful in good behavior. To respect Seniors among family members is the first priority in Chinese society.

Black tea
Green tea
Red tea
Green tea
White tea

on 9/15/2008 Fascinating! I have never heard of "cleaning" tea leaves, or filling the pot a third of the way up with them! No wonder Chinese tea is so good.
