How to Make a Diaper Bear
Most people love the opportunity to shop for a baby. All the little clothes and toys are so adorable, partially because it is amazing how tiny all those things are. So, it is no surprise that the majority of baby shower gifts are cute little outfits, but there are so many other things that a new mother needs to take care of her baby, such as diapers. If you are looking for a way to give an expectant mother diapers at her shower, but you want to present them in a cute way, make a diaper bear.

1
Roll the diapers, forming rolls in the preferred sizes for the head, legs, arms and body. To create these rolls open up a diaper, roll it so that the outside of the diaper is on the outside of the roll, and roll that rolled up diaper into another diaper, and so on until you have reached your preferred sizes.
-
2
Tie a length of ribbon around each roll to hold the roll together. The wider the ribbon the better so it will hold the roll. To get the right length of ribbon for each roll, wrap the ribbon around the diaper roll, tie it, and cut it from the spool.

3
Roll a single diaper for each ear of the bear, and then tie this roll up with a length of ribbon.
-
4
Connect the pieces of your bear together with double sided tape, placing the double sided tape on the ribbons holding the rolls together so that no diapers are ruined when the bear is dissembled.
-
5
Cut a circle out of brown felt. Get a perfect circle by tracing the opening or bottom of a round cup. Cut the circle proportionate to your bear's head; the piece of felt will be the bear's snout.
-
6
Attach a large black pom pom to the brown felt circle using double sided tape.
-
7
Use double sided tape to attach your bear's snout and eyes to his head.
-
8
Dress up your bear with items like a pacifier, bib, blanket, rattle and bottle. Attach the bottle and rattle to each of the bear's hands with a length of ribbon. Drape the blanket around the bear when you sit it on the gift table.

Tips & Warnings
If you are giving a diaper bear, but you don't want it to be the main gift, then lay your diaper bear in a bassinet, bouncy seat, car seat or swing and give it that way.
