Bloody bubble gum is a great way to prank your friends, especially for Halloween. It’s quick and inexpensive to make and will keep a mouth looking bloody for days. Make bloody bubble gum as your trick and treat for this Halloween.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Rewrappable bubble gum
  • Clean metal nail
  • Red food coloring liquid
  • Aluminum pan
  1. Step 1

Purchase round or oval bubble gum in removable twist wrappers. The Dubble Bubble brand works well.

  2. Step 2

Unwrap a piece of gum and save the wrapper. Make a hole at least a half inch deep on the end side of the gum piece by pushing in the pointed end of a clean metal nail.

  3. Step 3

Put several tablespoons of red food coloring in an aluminum pan. Dry it in a 200 degree oven for 30 minutes. This will result in a non-toxic colored food powder.

  4. Step 4

Use the end of the nail to put a small amount of the food powder inside the hole in the gum. Take a small piece of another piece of gum to plug up the hole. Press on it to make it flush with the side of the gum.

  5. Step 5

Roll the gum back up in its original wrapper. Offer the trick bubble gum to your friends for a bloody treat.
