3. Take the surveys and accumulate the minimum for payment. Payment can arrive by mail in the form of a check or gift card. Depending on the company, PayPal might also be an option. Payment for each survey varies from a few cents to several dollars depending on what surveys you decide to take and what company or companies you choose to sign up with. You may also be entered into a raffle for a gift card or sum of money. The length of the survey also determines how much the company pays. Surveys may take anywhere from 30 seconds to an hour to complete. It all depends on how fast you type and answer questions.
