Lightly grease the foil pan with the oil. Set it aside. This is the patio stone mold.

      Mixing the concrete

Before mixing the concrete, put on the dust mask. Using the rubber gloves and mixing shovel, mix the concrete with water according to the package directions. Only make enough to fill your needs.

    • 3

Once the concrete is mixed, pour it into the mold. Let the concrete sit for one hour. After one hour, you can add the special touches you choose, such as glass stones or marbles, leaves to make leaf prints, or children's hand or foot prints. Allow the stone to dry for 48 hours.

    • 4

After 48 hours, the stone can be removed from the mold but must be left to sit for another 5 days. After 5 days, it should be fully dry and ready to be placed in a garden or to make an addition to your patio.
