How to Use ABC Teach.com
ABC Teach.com is a website full of resources for teachers and parents. There are easily accessible printouts for a variety of subjects, and you can customize your own printouts. ABC Teach.com offers this site for free. However, with a paid membership you will have access to the site's full capabilities. For a guided tour through the many features of this site, follow these steps.

Log on to abcteach.com (see Resources below). The first page is divided up into different sections. To the right is a blue strip which contains the list of content within this site. It also has a small section where teachers can sign up for membership or a free newsletter. You can use this site without having to pay for membership. This site offers very helpful printouts. Located in the middle section is a list of free worksheets that will help out immensely for teaching purposes. Below this list is a list of some of what they offer for a paid membership. They have samples that you can click on at the end of each paragraph. At the top of the page are apple icon’s which will take you around their site.

Click on “Create a free handwriting worksheet” which is at the top of the list on the main page middle section. Select a template from the drop down arrow depending upon what you will need for teaching. Select a theme by clicking on the drop down arrow in the next box. Next click the "Print Free Handwriting Worksheet" tab. This action will bring up a second page that will display your created template. You can then click print to printout as many as you need. This is just one of the many print outs that ABC Teach.com offers to help teachers teach.

Click on the yellow apple at the top of the ABCteach.com front page. The title of this section is called “worksheets.” Choose from fifteen different subjects to teach from. They offer printouts for school basics such as math, handwriting, science and more, as well as flashcards, fun activities and theme units. The resource list for teachers seems endless but the way to use this site is to narrow your choices down by searching based on your need. Teaching is so much easier these days with sites like this.

View the side panel to the right side of the screen is a directory which lists easy to view teaching topics. These topics contain helpful resources for teaching. One such resource is called “fun activities.” Click on this title and printout your own puzzles, mazes and crafts. The activities and worksheets that help you teach are numerous on this site.
