How to Draw a Vending Machine

A vending machine is a three-dimensional box with legs. It can be drawn very easily by starting with a simple rectangle and adding legs and details. Here is how to draw a vending machine with these simple steps.

   Example 1

   Draw a rectangle that is larger closer to the viewer and smaller farther away, as shown in Example 1.

   Example 2

   Draw a line straight down from the closest corner. Draw two lines from the side corners, but make them shorter than the first line. Connect the lines.

   Draw a window, add squares for feet, and add details, such as squares in the window to represent food packets. Write the word "Push" on a rectangle below the window for the vending door.

   Darken the lines and you're done.

Tips & Warnings

• Make sure the lines on the window and door are going in the same direction as the lines on the vending machine.
