Things You'll Need:
- 5 sets of dice
- Tumbler (optional)
- 2 or more players
-
Step 1
Determine who will first act as banker. You may choose to do so in any way you normally set order for a game, or you may opt to select a banker by the roll of a die. Each player rolls a single die; the highest (or lowest) roll is the banker for the first round.
-
Step 2
Roll the dice. You are only allowed to throw once per round. You are looking to throw “hands” in a similar vein as poker.
-
Step 3
Take bets. All other players can now wager against your “hand.” If they bet against the bank, they must roll the dice and beat your throw—five of a kind beats four of a kind, four of a kind beats a full house, a full house beats three of a kind, three of a kind beats two pairs and two pairs beats one pair.
-
Step 4
Pass the dice to the player to the left. He must now roll the dice, hoping to beat your hand. He too will only have one throw. If you rolled three of a kind, he must roll a higher three of a kind, a full house, four of a kind or five of a kind to beat you.
-
Step 5
Settle out any bets won (or lost) at even odds. The player to your left will now act as banker for the next hand. Play as many hands as you like; stop whenever you wish.
