How to Create a Wedding Collage
A wedding collage is a great gift. It is a great way to mark the end of a honeymoon or the first year anniversary. Since you put so much into your wedding--it symbolizes the beginning of the life you'll share with your husband--the wedding itself should be celebrated and remembered in a special way. Making a wedding collage can be a fun craft project for the two of you at the start of your marriage. It can focus on the joy, beauty and bliss of your wedding day.

1
Make copies of wedding photographs. Never use an original print, even for the centerpiece. All photographs used in a collage must be copies, or you will risk permanent damage to valuable photographs.
-
2
Buy an elaborate frame. It should be size proportionate to how big you want your collage. It should be white in color, as this is a wedding collage. You can go as expensive or cheap with this part of the collage as you want.
-
-
3
Cut out a piece of white poster board to fit into the designated frame. You will use this as your collage foundation.
-
4
Choose a collage centerpiece. This should be the mutual favorite photograph of you and your new husband. You both should approve and love this photograph. It will be the largest photograph for the collage and its focal point. Once the picture is chosen, have it blown up. It should be small enough so that it doesn't take up even half of the collage space, but it should be recognizably larger than all other photos used in the collage.
-
5
Gather smaller wedding day photographs of you and your closest family and friends. Also gather wedding-themed quotes, stickers and your wedding invitation. Arrange the photographs and other materials in a way that is visually appealing to you.
-
6
Include your written vows (in handwritten notes by each of you) for a really classic and meaningful display. Being forever reminded of your vows to one another can be a beautiful thing. If you are going this route with the collage, it's a good idea to ultimately display the collage in a special area that will be seen daily by the two of you.
-
7
Position the collage materials in several different ways before committing to a permanent collage display.
-
8
Tape or glue all the photographs and other materials to the white poster board. Let it dry overnight.
-
9
Frame and display your new work of wedding art.

Tips & Warnings
Ask the advice of your new spouse throughout the creation of the collage. You don't want a one-sided wedding collage.
Don't include any photographs in the collage out of obligation. if you think your relatives will be offended by the omission if friends are included, block those thoughts from your head. This collage is for you and your new husband only. All others aren't in the mix when it comes to consideration for your collage.
