Instructions

Constructing the Outfit

1. Get a hat. Zorro wore a black Andalusian-style wide-rim hat with a flat top.

2. Take a black cloth and cut out the eyes for a mask or ypurchase a mask at a costume shop. The black-cowl mask disguises Zorro's identity by concealing the top of the head from eye level upward.

3. You can find a black "Renaissance" tunic top, also known as a "Poet Top." Purchase a black-silk, button-down top with billowy sleeves ending in tight cuffs.

4. Zorro wears a long cape that trails behind him during his escapes.

5. Get black gloves. Leather is the material of choice.

6. Zorro used a sword that resembles a foil sword with a grip, bellguard and thin silver blade.

7. Find a black sheath to place your foil sword in.

8. Find a silver belt or wrap a thick black sash around your waist.

9. Get fitted pants. Imagine black pants that are form-fitting enough to be able to provide you with enough flexibility to lunge at your attackers

10. Get knee-high black cuffed boots. Tuck your pants in your boots.
